The EarthBolt Mk IV Precast and Tilt-Up Concrete Panel Prop Safety Anchor was designed as a temporary foundation system to replace traditional and costly cast in-situ concrete strip and bored pier designed footings. Using several industry engineering specialists in various disciplines the design agenda was simple; to create the safest and strongest temporary foundation system to resist movement under maximum wind loads.
The EarthBolt Mk IV Prop Safety Anchor System is a patented screw pile with a compressing head assembly. It is installed into the ground for connection of braces for the support of concrete panels – replacing the need for concrete soldier piers or for concrete bracing pads or beams.
The system comes from Victoria where it has been successfully installed more than 300,000 times in the last ten years.
EarthBolt NSW has exclusive rights to supply and install the Earthbolt MK IV anywhere in NSW or the ACT. We have years of industry experience with bracing of concrete panels with our sister company Positive Hire. We can also supply all bracing and concrete panel installation requirements from grout and shims – to braces and EarthBolts.
The EarthBolt Mk IV is designed in accordance to AS4100 Steel Structures, AS2159 Piling Design and Installation and manufactured under ISO 9001. Certification with AS1163 using 350mpa Grade steel.
After installation of all the anchors the Site Manager is provided with Certification for the connection of props.
The overall system is quicker, cleaner and more efficient. There is no spoil to remove from soldier piers and no concrete to pour and wait for curing before the panel bracing is connected. It is a much more effective use of a builders resources to engage a contractor to resolve all the problems associated with panel bracing.
