The Cost Savings
Apart from the speed of installation and general site cleanliness – the EarthBolt Precast Prop Anchor System is cheaper than the alternatives of bored piers or concrete strip footings.
A true breakdown, in terms of float hire, machine hire, man hours, excavation time, soil removal, concrete cost, steel and bolts can be seen on the Nash Case Study (see case study).
To achieve comparative kN loads an engineered bored pier must have at least 0.72 m3 of concrete and a strip footing at least 0.37 m3 per linear metre.
When an engineered footing is installed the traditional way the concrete price alone is 16% to 20% more expensive than the EarthBolt system. This does not include the other obvious costs as previously stated for excavation, machine, labour and soil removal costs.
Historically costs are at least 25% less for a smaller project with higher savings achieved on larger projects.
This is the only system that increases safety and saves project costs making EarthBolt NSW a simple solution.
